The Hundred Day Project Day 4: Pinning

This is another partially-made quilt. Actually all it needs is a border and then it is ready to be backed and quilted. I rarely pin anything but these border patches are so long that it is easier to tether them firmly in place. I know it would probably be more sensible to concentrate on one patchwork, finish it and then move onto the next but I want to feel that they are all at least roughly under control. Also I like having the choice of what to do; some days were made for cutting out paper rectangles (I find Argos catalogues particularly good) while at other times I want to stitch the pieces into their finished patterns. Today was a pinning day.
