The skyline has indeed been lowered but the horizon is blurred out in reddish orange paint.  A step forward but not a very satisfactory one.

Another layer of paint, slightly thicker and with less solvent, has been added to much of the canvas . Some of the colours are a bit stronger but there is a distressing lack of tonal values let alone modelling of any form. The trouble with doing things a day at a time is that the state of the paint and its need to dry often leaves the picture in a very unsatisfactory state for even semi-public display. At the moment it looks extremely washy.
