This is a converted warehouse in central London. There are four terraces, each with pots that needed a little TLC. The client wanted herbs for the kitchen, and purple and white flowers which would survive a certain amount of neglect. We replaced much of the compost, added new plants and encouraged the star jasmine to climb along the trellis, rather than making a bid for freedom through the adjoining garden. In a month or so, the plants will settle in and look good right through the summer.
